‘Shameless’ is a 2012 Polish film directed by Filip Marczewski and written by Grzegroz Loszewski. It is a story of forbidden love between a young man and his older sister. But also the film links in Polish neo-Nazis and a Romeny community.

The main characters in the film are 18 years old Tadek (Masteuz Kosciukiewicz) and his older half-sister Anka (Agneszka Grochowska). Tadek runaway from his aunt and arrives near Anka. In the opening scene Tadek jumps out of a train and meets beautiful Irmina (Anna Prochniak) who witness all his actions. Tadek expects more affection from Anka but she was involved with a local neo-Nazi group leader and politician Andrezg (Maciej Marczewski)

Like Someone in Love is a 2012 Japanese movie written and directed by Abbas Kiorastami. The film portrays the development of an extraordinary relationship between two people having years of generation gap. The cast includes Rin Takanashi, Tadashi Okino and Ryo Kase.

Akiko (Rin Takanashi) is a student who works as a high class call girl to pay for her studies. The film opens with Akiko at the bar and was shouting with her boy friend Noriaki (Ryo Kase) through phone. She informs him that her grandmother is in town. At that night there is a client waiting for her. She is surprised to find the shy and elderly Takashi (Tadashi Okino) her client. Takashi was constantly distracted by work related phone calls. He was interested in her company rather than sex. Even though she prompted him by stripping of her clothes and gets into his bed. But he refused and she falls asleep.

Present Tense is Belman Soylemez first feature film. It is a Turkish film made in 2012. The Casting includes Sanam Oge, Senay Aydin and Ozan Bilan leading the roles. The film tells the story of a young unemployed woman who tells fortune to find a way to start a new life.

Unable to find a good job, Mina (Sanam Oge) applies for work as a fortune teller in a cafe. While she reads the coffee cups of different women, she also tries to find a way out for herself. Fazi (Senay Aydin) another fortune teller likes Mina but soon becomes jealous due to her increasing women customers.

THE REPENTANT - Film review

The Repentant is a 2012 Algerian Film written and directed by veteran Director Merzak Allouche. After the eight years civil war which ended in 1999 the Algerian government offered an amnesty to the jihadist rebels. Casting Nabil Asni, Khaled Benaisse, Adila Bendimerad. The Repentant portrays the life of a repentant who tried to lead a normal life and how the society reacts towards to it.

Inspired by the amnesty young jihadist Rashid (Nabil Asli) leaves the snowy mountains running, gasping until he reaches his village and meet his old parents. But Rashid was threatened by a neighbour whose family was killed by terrorist. Rashid claims that he never killed anyone.

After the assassination of President Anwar El Sadat in 1981, Hosni Mubarak became head of Egypt and continues to serve until 2011. The long thirty years regime was overthrown by the people’s revolution. ‘After the Battle’ directed by Yousry Nasrallah is an Egyptian film which portrays the post revolt Egypt. The cast includes Bassem Samra, Menna Chalaby, Nahed EL Sebai, Salah Abdallah and Phaedra leading the roles.

Kunjatta's Vidhyarambham

 We all call her as Kunjatta .Her real name is Anamika .She is my uncle's daughter .She is now two and a half years old .Till morning onwards my house will be full of noise because Kunjatta wakes up early and disturb everyone who are still sleeping .Even though she is naughty everyone loves her a lot .I am very fond of watching her doings .She imitates the sound of dog , duck , hen ,cow ,crow etc .It is a very interesting thing for me to fight with her .So for that I will try to make her angry  by saying that she is not the daughter of her mother  and they had took her from a market .Hearing this she will call every naughty words she know .It is Kunjatta who makes our home pleasant.
